Humorous and rhyming

One of my favorite books to read with my son. This book has brilliant rhymes and humor. I also appreciate the onomatopoeia that's highlighted. Delightful story and illustrations.

Funny, silly, warm and absolutely scrumptious!

My 8-year-old loves reading it and my 3-year-old asks for it every night. He references the book by reciting his favorite line: Fire, fire! Fire in my belly!
The rhymes are fascinating for young readers and the plot is attractive to toddlers and preschoolers.
